1. Consultation & Assessment
Before anything begins, your artist will spend time discussing your goals.
Style Selection: You’ll decide on the technique (e.g., hair-like strokes for microblading or a soft “makeup” look for powder brows).
Skin Evaluation: The artist assesses your skin type (oily, dry, or sensitive) as this affects how the pigment will heal.
Lifestyle Check: They may ask about your daily makeup routine and sun exposure to ensure the design fits your life.
She will quickly draw in the area to give an idea of the final result, perform a patch test & discuss pre & aftercare. You can then book in your first session.
Your first Session
The first session will take approximately 2 hours for Brows or Eyeliner, sometimes much quicker. The area will be skillfully mapped based on your bone & muscle placement aswel as your natural brow hair. You will be given a mirror to approve the shape & the process will not go ahead untill you are 100% happy to do so. When finished you will be given aftercare advice & a balm to use. i.e No sweating, swimming or sunbathing for 7-10 days. You will then be re-booked for your touch up session between 4-6 weeks later.
Your Second session
The second session of PMU often called the “Perfection Session” or “Touch-Up,” is the most critical step in the process. While the first session lays the foundation, the second session ensures longevity and fixes the fading that often happens during initial healing.
Your Artist will first look at how your skin retained the pigment. Every person heals differently based on skin type (oily vs.dry) and lifestyle. It is completely normal for some spots to look lighter or for “hair strokes” to have faded. Sometimes the pigment heals cooler (greyer) or warmer (redder) than expected. This is when the artist adjusts the shade to get the perfect match. The shape can be tweaked here so speak up if yoy would like them a little thicker or denser. This session is much quicker than the first often taking aprx 60mins.

What is the difference between Microblading & Powder Brows?
Microblading: Uses a manual tool to create hair-like strokes. Best for dry/normal skin.
Powder/Ombre Brows: Uses a machine to create a soft, misty “makeup” look. Best for all skin types, especially oily or mature skin
Can I get them done if I have no brow hair?
Yes. PMU is an excellent solution for those with alopecia, thinning hair, or over-tweezed brows. Eyeliner is amazing if you have none to very sparse lashes. Your artist will map out a shape that complements your bone structure.
Does it hurt? A topical anesthetic (numbing ) before and during the procedure. Most clients describe the feeling as a “scratchy” sensation or light pressure rather than intense pain.
How long does it last? PMU is “semi-permanent.” Results typically last 1–3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle (sun exposure), and the specific technique used. A “color boost” or touch-up is usually recommended every 12–18 months.
What is the difference between Lash Enhancement and Eyeliner?
Lash Enhancement: A thin line tucked directly into the lash line to make lashes look thicker. Very subtle.
Classic Eyeliner: A thicker line, often with a “wing” or soft “smudged” effect for a more dramatic look.
2. Is it safe for my eyes?
Yes, when performed by a Qualified professional. Artists use sterile, single-use needles and pigments specifically formulated for the eye area. Your eyes remain closed throughout the majority of the procedure.
3. Can I wear contacts or lash extensions?
Contacts: Must be removed before the procedure and kept out for 24–48 hours.
Extensions: Must be professionally removed at least 3 days prior to the appointment and cannot be reapplied until 4 weeks after the touch-up.
Lash Growth Serums : cannott be used for 6 weeks before or after having pmu liner.
Pre & Aftercare
Pre-Appt (24 hrs) : AvoidCaffeine, Alcohol, Aspirin/Ibuprofen (these thin the blood).
Pre-Appt (1 week) : Retinol, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, and chemical peels.
Aftercare (Day 1-10): No sweating, no swimming, no makeup on the area, and no picking the area.

THE PERFECT OPTION FOR YOU
Powder / Ombre Brows — a soft, filled-in look ideal for oily skin types. If you like how your brows look just after tinting with either regular tint, henna or Hybrid then powder may be for you.
Microblading hairstrokes will not suit all skin types.
Lash Enhancement or classic / foxy shaded eyeliner will depend on your eye shape & your makeup style
